The sculpts were designed to represent features of African, Asian, Caucasian, Latin and Mediterranean ethnicities. Standing apart at 21" tall, they are uniquely sized to emphasize the latest fashions and realistic body of an 11-year-old girl. They are designed to be a comfortable size for children of different ages to carry along as a companion. The dolls are high quality made from non-phthalate vinyl with 1/3 vinyl breastplate for fashion sensibility and 2/3 soft body torso to maintain the nurture nature of a doll. Each doll is strung with fully articulated head, arms and legs so they can sit, stand, and be posed in many positions. The clothing and accessories reflect high quality and detail throughout the design and fabric selections. Designed for girls age 6 and up.

Karito Kids Adventure books are written in a style that blends fiction and non-fiction, taking the character through an exciting adventure in her home country and giving you the opportunity to experience the story with its own unique combination of landscapes, cultures, celebrations and beliefs. These high quality, hard bound books are approximately 150 pages in length, and include a journal entry detailing real facts about the country and culture, written by each of the main characters. As with all Karito Kids Advenures, the books interact with the Karito Kids' website and allow kids to "activate" a donation to a children's chairty online.

Each of the dolls comes complete with one beautiful, high quality outfit. The dolls' clothing will reflect what is worn in that particular country today, as opposed to traditional costumes displayed on most international dolls.
