Although no candle can be completely soot free, Pickwick & Co. soy wax candles do have less soot and more importantly no toxins in the soot. All Pickwick & Co. candles are hand-poured with a high percentage of premium fragrances and essential oils using soy blend wax and are designed to burn with a full melt pool with no wax left on the sides, little soot and minimal build up on the wick. Our candles have a 50+ hour burning time using a clean-burning cotton and zinc wick. Pickwick & Co. soy wax candles burn cooler than paraffin and with proper care, will result in a longer lasting candle - up to 50% longer.
